Theology

Courses in Theology at NDA are a core part of our curriculum. Students are required to take theology each year, but unlike other disciplines our classes are taught as semester courses with one course in the fall and a new course in the spring. This format allows students to be exposed to a variety of courses that might not be offered at other schools such as Facing History and Ourselves, Catholic Ethics and World Religions. Second, our courses encourage exploration and development of a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith and their unique relationship with the good God. Our classes welcome the diversity of religious and faith experience as we seek to discover what binds us to each other in love rather than what seeks to separate us.

A Teacher's View

"We want NDA graduates to have a mind for God as well as a heart for God, a thinking faith that seeks the voice of God in their lives."
