IRA Charitable Rollover - If you are a U.S. taxpayer and at least 70 1/2 years of age, you may make gifts to the Academy of Notre Dame from your IRA without having to count those funds as part of your adjusted gross income. Consequently, you do not have to pay taxes on the donated amount. Distributions must be made directly from the IRA trustee to the Academy of Notre Dame, and the individual maximum is $100,000 per calendar year. Matching Gifts - You may be able to double the amount of your gift to the Annual Fund. Many employers have Matching Gift Programs and will match charitable donations made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift.
Memorial Gifts - When you have the occasion to celebrate a graduation, anniversary or other significant milestone, a gift to NDA may be the perfect tribute. Memorial gifts offer a meaningful way to honor the memory of family members or friends while supporting NDA.
