The Academy of Notre Dame offers rolling admissions for all grades. Upper School students are encouraged to apply by the December 31st priority deadline. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis after the priority deadline, but you are encouraged to inquire and apply at any time. 

 

Faces of NDA

In order to start an application, please complete the online inquiry form. Completion of this form prompts an email to be sent to you, with directions on how to log on to the admissions portal, Veracross. Once you are logged on, you may complete an application and submit the required documents and materials. Application requirements vary by school level. 

Early Years Program (Pre-K3, Pre-K4, & Kindergarten)

  • Completed Online Application
  • Birth Certificate
  • Developmental Profile (completed by a parent or guardian)
  • Application fee of $50

Lower School (Grades 1-5)

  • Completed Online Application
  • Birth Certificate
  • Recommendation from current teacher 
  • Copies of recent report cards and/or transcripts 
  • Copies of standardized test results, if applicable
  • Copy of 504 Plan and/or IEP Plan, if applicable
  • Application fee of $50

Middle School (Grades 6-8)

  • Completed Online Application
  • Birth Certificate
  • Recommendation from current teacher 
  • Copies of recent report cards and/or transcripts 
  • Copies of standardized test results, if applicable
  • Copy of 504 Plan and/or IEP Plans, if applicable
  • Application fee of $50

 

Upper School (Grade 9)

  • Completed Online Application
  • Essay
  • One of two placement tests:
    • Boston Archdiocesan High School Placement Test (HSPT
    • Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) 
  • Official copies of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade school transcripts
  • Official copies of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade standardized test results
  • Recommendation from a current teacher 
  • Recommendation from current principal or guidance counselor
  • Copy of IEP/504 Plan, if applicable
  • Interview with the Director of Admissions
  • Application fee of $50

Upper School (Grades 10, 11, 12 & Transfers)

  • Completed Online Application
  • Essay
  • Official copies of school transcripts (past three years) 
  • Official copies standardized test results (past three years) 
  • Recommendation from a current teacher
  • Recommendation from current principal or guidance counselor
  • Copy of IEP/504 Plan, if applicable
  • Interview with the Director of Admissions
  • Application fee of $50


Potential students interested in the Upper School may also apply through the Standard Application Online (SAO). For those interested in taking the SSAT exam, registration is available on the SAO website. Please use school code 1082 to send the SSAT score to the Academy.

International Students

The Academy of Notre Dame welcomes students from all over the world to study at our school. Recent international students and graduates have traveled from China, Vietnam, Hungary, Egypt, and Canada to attend the Academy. This program exposes students to new cultures and enriches the diversity of the Academy, for both domestic  and international students. Please visit our
