Upper School Library

At the Academy, one of the busiest areas is the library! It occupies two rooms. There is the main library room filled with all literary genres for you to access and a reference room/computer lab with computer workstations, printers, and tables for group study. Academy students have access to the 15,000 volumes of print resources, plus databases that filter and supplement Internet resources to help you with papers and projects.

Virtual High School courses also take place in the library rooms.

Both rooms are open from 7 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., providing a quiet haven, a place to get advice for a great (next) book to read, as well as a supportive place to study.

The full-time librarian works between both the Upper School and Lower School library rooms located in close proximity to each other on the first floor. The librarian develops lessons on research skills, with guidelines for discerning Internet sources, while working closely with subject teachers and students to support research needs for projects and papers. Students also have access to Noodle Tools for research support.
