Parent Informational Session: Coping with Stress
When
5/4/2020, 6:30 PM 7:30 PM

Stress is something all students experience. It is important to manage it so that students are happy, healthy, and learning. Right now is a particularly stressful time for many and it is therefore doubly important to talk about stress and how to manage it. For these reasons, we will be holding two separate Zoom sessions for families to attend talking about stress and anxiety.

During these sessions, you will have the opportunity to discuss with other parents how you have been helping your child cope with the current COVID-19 situation. You will also have time to learn about approaches and strategies for helping students manage and respond to stress as well as anxiety.

The sessions will be led by our guidance counselor Mrs. Megan Thomann, our middle school principal Dr. James Flynn, and Jacqueline Flood, an intern at NDA who is a current graduate student at Harvard and a former high school teacher. See Dr. Flynn's email for meeting link.
