Searching the Library Catalog
You do not need to log in to do a catalog search. However, if you want to place a hold, you will need to log in using your NDA library username and password. If you do not know your username and password, please stop by the library or send an email to [email protected] to request them. Please include your name and grade level in the email.
- To search the catalog, click into the Search bar.
- Type the title, author, or subject matter for the book(s) you’re interested in. for instance, if you’re researching the Titanic type the word “Titanic” in the search bar.
- There are numerous ways to filter your results, including by age group, reading level, etc. so feel free to play around with those to get the results you want.
- The listing will show if the book is “In” or “Out. If you click on the title, and then “View More Details” you’ll get a complete listing of the book including in which library it is located (under sublocation). At this point, you may log in to place a hold or come to the library to find the book and check it out.
