Over his 20 year career, Mr. Catonguay has significant experience as an administrator and educator for elementary schools. NDA's multi-grade hiring team was impressed by the depth of his knowledge, warm personality, and his hands on approach for supporting teachers.
He brings extensive experience in reviewing and evaluating student data, leading professional development to improve teaching, learning and instructional outcomes, implementing inclusive practice and restorative discipline, fostering innovation, and decreasing bullying to create a positive learning environment for all students.
Most recently, Mr. Castonguay served as a Grade 5 classroom teacher. Prior to that he served three years as the Superintendent/Director/Principal of the Windham Academy Public Charter School serving 360 students in grades K-8.
Mr. Castonguay received his Master of Arts in Teaching, Learning, and Technology from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education & Geography from Salem State University in Salem, MA. He is a resident of East Hampstead, NH.
