NDA Accepts NH Education Freedom Account (EFA) Grants

NH EFA grants may be used for tuition, books, uniforms and even transportation at NDA.

This year, New Hampshire Governor Ayotte signed a bill into law expanding eligibility for Education Freedom Accounts (EFAs) to all families with children in grades K-12, regardless of income.

What’s changing under the new law:

  • All families will be eligible to apply for an EFA, regardless of household income.
  • A new enrollment cap will support sustainable growth, while prioritizing students with the greatest needs - including current EFA participants, siblings, students with disabilities, and families meeting income priority.
  • Renewal guarantees will protect continuity for current students.

Families seeking the full EFA award for the upcoming school year, all application materials must be verified by Tuesday, July 15.

Applying for EFA is easy. Just follow the steps to apply at the NH Children’s Scholarship Fund (nh.scholarshipfund.org).
