FoNDA (Friends of NDA)

The Friends of the Academy of Notre Dame (FoNDA) is a private group comprised of Upper School parents, alumni, and other interested parties. It is dedicated to supporting Upper School students with the opportunity to further develop their physical, mental, and spiritual potential through athletics and co-curricular activities.

Each year FoNDA contributes to a variety of NDA co-curricular clubs and athletic teams. Contributions have included:  

• $3,350 to co-curricular activities
• $777 to Senior Night
• $1,363 to the annual Sport Banquet
• $1,789 for sports and equipment
• $1, 750 to fund seven $250 scholarships for graduating seniors

FoNDA raises money through FoNDA FUNdraisers and concessions sales. All money raised goes directly back to the Academy in direct benefit to Upper School students. We ask that every Upper School parent consider participating by purchasing something you are already buying like mums, wreaths or ice cream; manning a concession stand for a game or program at a sporting or drama event; and coming to Trivia Night which is a fun night out for a great cause. We also have raffle tickets for great prizes given away at the Sports Banquet (need not be present to win)!

All parents of Upper School students are welcome at any FoNDA meeting. We currently meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the conference room across from the parlors at the main entrance.
