my husband and I chose the Academy of Notre Dame for our son's middle school education because he was struggling in the public school system our main concerns when choosing a middle school were that his need who are being met that the teachers were being receptive to his learning style and his educational need and that he was thriving in whatever environment we chose for him we've seen so many positive changes since he started coming to the academy of Notre Dame he loves coming to school he loves learning he loves the extracurricular activities he no longer comes home with you know bad behavior reports he's engaged in the classroom engage with his teachers and his friends it's been very positive the academy has done an excellent job of preparing the middle school age kids for high school starting in sixth grade they began to encourage Independence and have parents step out of their learning experience and kids take responsibility for what they do or don't do in the classroom and the more Independence they're given in school the more prepared I see them being for high school he's been given the opportunity for example in the steam classroom to explore his scientific interests he has as a seventh grader been given the opportunity to join Varsity Sports if he chooses he just started violin lessons yesterday and is now exploring his musical interests there's so many opportunities that are available here even though it's a small school I would wholeheartedly recommend NDA for anybody who is interested in a a different option for Education not just Catholic students but any student at the individual ized tension that a child gets at NDA is beneficial no matter their their religion or cultural background
