Library Learning CommonsLibrary

Early Years students have access to the Academy's Library Learning Commons (LLC) created in the summer of 2016 to better serve all students in Pre-k to Grade 12.

The Learning Commons now encompasses three main areas for student learning and research:

    • The fiction room for Academy 5th-12th graders to provide a comfortable atmosphere for students to explore the works of great writers.
    • A picture book and non-fiction room to foster reading skills and a life-long love of reading for younger students.
    • The Upper School Student Center and reference collection was created to provide a dedicated area for team research and independent study. In addition to the Academy’s reference collection, the new area will include all of the technology and tools needed for students to engage in research, and to work collaboratively with other students as well as faculty.
