What to Expect on a Personal Tour

We take great pride in showing visitors our facilities and introducing them to members of our community. We feel there is much to learn by seeing us in action – in classrooms, sports facilities, art and music areas, chapel, and more. When you visit us for a personal tour, you and your family will be greeted at the main entrance to the Academy and be led to a parlor that has been used since the late 1920s to welcome prospective students, families, and others.

The parlor will be your setting as you get acquainted with your personal tour guide, usually Director of Admissions, Elisa Lellios, Admissions and Marketing Coordinator, Aida Parada, Assistant Head of Lower School, Beth O'Connell, Assistant Head of Middle School, Dr. James Flynn, or Assistant Head of Upper School, Pam Bernazani.

Your tour will focus on the programs of most interest to you either Early Years, Lower School or Upper School. Throughout the tour, you will meet our committed and friendly faculty and feel the energy of our vibrant school. The Academy exudes a spirit of warmth and closeness, something that will embrace you throughout your visit.

After you see what makes an Academy education distinct, we invite you to follow the Admissions Process so you or your child can be considered for admission to the Academy. We welcome mid-year transfer students as well.

Contact the Admissions Office for more information or fill out our Personal Tour Request Form below.

“NDA is a very supportive, judgement-free environment. Everyone here is unique with different areas of interests, but we’re all supportive of one another. This contributes to a sense of confidence that is instilled in all of us and empowers us to get involved and take risks. The students here aren't fake, they’re friendly & happy to be here.” - Kathryn Tarantino, Senior
