Learn the basics of circuitry, build cool alarms, doorbells, and simple AM/FM radios with Snap Circuits. Not only will you build some amazing creations, but the semi-structured program will give you a chance to explore on your own, with your creativity being the only limit on your first steps towards robotics.
About the Instructor:
Matt Jones is an offensive security professional, software engineer, and adviser for several Open Source projects. He has a background in electronic engineering and a passion for working with electronics and IoT devices. He graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame Lower School in 1993 and has remained an active member of various local groups. Matt is passionate about sharing the wonders of the Maker culture with students of all ages with a specific emphasis on electronics and fabrication. He brings his experience of metal fabrication, building cars, and working with computer hardware and software to the school’s afternoon Enrichment programs and his time volunteering in the Makerspace during the week.
