Important Reminder to Families: On Tuesday, November 26th cafeteria services will be closed. Students should bring a bag lunch from home or order a pre-bagged lunch. Forms are available in homerooms.
The Academy's food service program is operated by NexDine which was founded in Boston and is now based in Mansfield. They provide dining services for schools, corporations and senior living facilities in addition to catering services.
At the Academy, NexDine employs two full-time and three part-time staff members who are responsible for the preparation of food and the operation of the cafeteria. On-site staff work with corporate personnel remotely to plan and serve breakfast and lunch options for our students. Their staff is trained in the USDA’s core principles for food safety.
Breakfast is served each weekday that school is in session from 7 to 7:45 a.m. The cost for breakfast ranges from $1 to $3 depending on the food selections made and the age of the student.
Lunch begins at 11:00 a.m. with staggered seating times based on specific grade ranges.

My School Bucks
The easiest way to participate in the food service program is for parents to set up an account for their student(s) using My School Bucks. You will need your child/rens school ID# to set up the account(s) which can be funded using debit or credit cards. With the My School Bucks system, the meal purchases are applied to the account and low balance alerts can be sent out when the money depletes to a certain level. My School Bucks provides parents the opportunity to make payments online (or using their app), to schedule automatic payments and to view account balances and meal purchases.
