The Academy of Notre Dame (NDA) extends an invitation for children ages 2 to 5 years old to attend a storytime series beginning this month called, Tuesday’s Tykes & Tales .
Kicking off the series, on December 18 from 9 to 10 a.m., will be a Christmas story, craft and cocoa. All children and their parents are welcome to join the free event in the Academy’s parlors and take in some Christmas cheer.
“Christmas at NDA is something to behold,” says Elisa Lellios, Director of Admissions. “Families will have the opportunity to view the school decorated in its holiday finest including our beautiful tree-lined hallways and the the tranquil splendor of Our Lady’s Chapel.”
After Christmas, the series continues on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 9 to 10 a.m, featuring a story and activity of the day to engage young children. The storytime series will introduce children to NDA’s library, music and art resources, as well as the Early Year’s mini makerspace.
Please plan accordingly and remember that parents or guardians must stay with their children for the duration of the event. Each session will be held at the Academy of Notre Dame, located at 180 Middlesex Rd in Tyngsboro. Parking is located by the Blanche M. Walsh Sports Center or at the rear of the building. To enter the building, use the front steps and ring the buzzer.
