About NDA

The Academy of Notre Dame’s Mission, wise in its simplicity, strong in its heartfelt outreach to the community, continues to serve the nearly two-century-old institution as its guiding light. But first, let’s start with the facts:

  • 100% of our graduates go on to select colleges;
  • Research shows that same-sex educational environments encourage women to enter the science and technological sectors by over 10%---even based against male counterparts;
  • The “high-standards” environment encourages a focus on academic excellence;
  • We are a bastion of the “well-rounded” education, still offering full immersion programs in the arts, music and a solid, championship athletics program;
  • Women here learn the art of winning at life…based on sound spiritual grounding;
  • Our cumulative SAT scores are above the national average by far;
  • And last, but not least, The Academy also offers a full social life while offering its young women a strong support network of friendship and school activities to keep their academic goals at the forefront.

    As our compassionate—and visionary—foundress, St. Julie Billiart espoused:

    “Our mission is to educate the whole person for life through a curriculum rooted in spiritual formation and academic excellence. The mission is supported by an environment that nurtures a belief in the goodness of God, community building, extracurricular programs and a commitment to global justice through outreach to the materially poor and service to others in need….”

    “Teach them what they need to know for life.”

    That said, should any child be equipped with less than the Notre Dame Advantage?
